Windermere Station Gateway

Overview

We want to hear your feedback on our ideas to transform Windermere Station Gateway.

The Windermere Station Gateway project will create a welcoming gateway to the Lake District, improving arrival, connections and public space for residents and visitors. Working with partners, we are developing proposals to transform the station into a vibrant, high-quality transport hub with better connections for walking, cycling, buses and taxis. The vision is to create a clear, accessible and distinctive arrival experience, with enhanced public space, improved wayfinding and a station that reflects the character of Windermere.

Anyone unable to attend the drop-in community conversations will be able to view the materials and provide feedback online on this page. More information will be available soon.
